met nat, chair and tiff today.
It's been 5 years since I last saw them...
It was pretty fun catching up.
but I guess because of the long time I've not seen them, it made it weird too.
They are still pretty much the same in character and it was really really nice to think back on the things we used to do when we were in MG and what we would talk about and do when we all had to stay back after CCA in the canteen to have our committee meetings.
I guess I have always been pretty much away from their crowd but it was still nice to see them after so long.

These few days have been busy busy busy.
So this is just a quick update for all my avid readers. hahaha..
On the 23rd, I came home and slept for like one night at home then it was out of the door and to the loke's .
today's another short night at home and then I'm off for CG chalet.
My house is like a transit airport. hahaha..
And i really dont like it being this way cause i finally got my room back and everything's so perfect.
My bed's nice and comfy with my laptop just next to me on my pull out table and my kara's also next to me...
All i need to do is actually to declutter my room... and it'll be perfect.
I can only do that next week though.. sigh.
It's 12.38 on my laptop clock and im hungry and sleepy.
So i'm off to bed to sleep off the hungriness.

it was AWESOME.
4 days 3 nights of being surrounded by nothing but God's marvelous creation and many many MANY mozzies.
Highlights of my trip:
Day 1: LOST MY SLIPPER while jumping off the boat in the pouring rain.
Everyone on the island went: uhoh. bye bye!
I was SO scared I wouldnt get my slipper back and then I would have to survive 4 days with only one slipper
BUT, Super Sumit and Brave Ben went to look for my slipper despite the pouring rain and rescued my poor slipper :) yay!

Day 2: BEAUTIFUL weather. but it threatened to rain at night so we couldnt laze on the pier. Got a little tipsy on a bottle of really good wine while playing hand made poker cards.

Day 3: Went snorkeling! at least attempted to. The water was murky and we didnt really know how to snorkel. my face was stinging cause of the sea water. I dunno why. The night left us all happy when we lay down on the pier admiring the star filled clear night sky.

Day 4: rushed to catch the first boat out. Got stranded in mersing and had to pay 135 bucks to get to the causeway. We thought there was no aircon in the cab at all... until heavy rain met us and then FINALLY the cranky cab driver turned on the aircon.

The whole of today, no one was home from 12pm. I had the whole house to myself :)
andrea, ayeeba and shir came over and we just hung out..
I really liked it cause we were just sitting around and enjoying each other's company.
I miss the times we sat at the back of the canteen and talked about nothing in particular.

I went to the doctor again.
I don't like being sick so much :(
especially not during the holidays.

I don't like this feeling. Lord, take it away. It hurts too much.

today, at the 157 bus queue, there was this man announcing to everyone that these two boys were his grand children.
I was wondering why they were looking at him weird.
soon, their bus came and they left. then, he moved down the queue and stood right in front of me.

man: are you a roman catholic?
me: er.. no.
man: then your cross? you are a christian?
me: yep. I'm a christian.
man: oh. *pause* are you a christian, a roman catholic or santa claus
me: HUH? er... christian. I'm a christian.
man: oh. ok. careful ah. dont fall. the last time I saw this young people they walk then not careful then fall you know?
me: ok. thanks.

then he turned to sumit and started to talk to sumit in dialect.
which part of sumit doesnt tell you he isnt chinese?

WHY do I always encounter these weird people?
Mummy will say: that confirms your calling to be a psychologist.

Mom: Amelia! Eat Papaya!
me: I don't want.
Mom: Papaya is good you know! eat!
me: Its ok. you eat.
Mom: must eat! papaya makes your boobs big. eat one.
me: I DON'T WANT! i don't want bigger boobs.
mom: eat la.. a little bit bigger is always good.

...
sigh. all these old wives tales.

I was going to the toilet in Suntec..
and on my way out,
THERE WAS A FLASHER RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME!
I didnt see clearly, but if I'm not wrong.... IT REALLY WAS......
AHHHHHHH...

Not that I don't know there were such people..
But reading about them in textbooks and MEETING them is two very different things ok.

sigh. WHY are some people so weird.

oh. and.. another allergic reaction just happened. sigh.
I shall go down to the docs soon to find out what I'm allergic to so that I dont have to find out the hard way.

Today is also when the joy of being a pseudo single child ends.
sisters coming back from a 4 day camp.
Why didn't they go on a year long one.
I'm so bad.
And Today is when daddy asked me how I'm going to pay for my education in Australia.
Today is the day I realise how unsure I am of the future.
If I don't get a scholarship, I probably won't go and further my studies.

I don't like the idea.
I don't like the uncertainty.
I don't like Today much.
and its only 12 plus.
I still have another 12 hours of Today to survive.

WHY do mosquitoes only bite me?
there are four grown people in the same room as me and the mozzies only attack my oh so beautiful and tender legs.
ARGH.
I hate mosquitoes.
and I hate lizards, cause they arent doing their job of eating the mozzies.
(and they look so creepy and cold and squishy and slimy and icky and gross)
I heard this myth that mosquitoes only bite people of a certain blood type.
But its not true.
Two other people in the room have the same blood type as me and they didnt even get a single bite.
I have... FIVE!
oh goodness. fat greedy mosquito.
at least I got my revenge..
muahahahahaha.

I cut my hair.
I dyed my hair for the first time in 21 years.
I think I look like a golden monkey.
I should have gone ahead with pink instead.
Then at the most I'll look like... pink panther.
It's amazing how hard it is to find pink hair dye.

5 MORE DAYS TO FREEDOM.
3 more exams in the next 5 days
Even though my core exam is one of the three
I feel more relaxed somehow

I think I'll start feeling the stress again on monday.
I CAN'T WAIT!

Cerlyn told me they no longer need me at shu at their counter.
I'm sad.
I love working there. sigh.
oh well.
Hopefully I get a couple of days of work at least.
My upcoming trip's going to burn quite a hole in my pocket.
I have to constantly remind myself to not think about the hols..
BUT ITS SO HARD! ITS JUST 5 DAYS AWAY! sigh.
