Today, Toshi realized how BIG his wedding dinner has to be to contain his 900 over friends.
This is one of those moments when you stop being envious of the number of people Toshi has on facebook.
Poor Toshi.
At least he can send out invitations via facebook and save on a probably $450 if you budget $0.50 for every invite.

so ANYWAY, about 15 mins into watching, daddy suddenly blurts out:

lydia: no daddy, its CN. only one 'N'.
Daddy: oh. what channel is this?
Emerlyn(my 12 year old cousin): er.. Cartoon network channel
Daddy: huh? channel what?
lydia: It's cable TV. We don't have cable tv.
Daddy: oh! so do you have discovery channel?

Daddy: ok. never mind.. watch your cartoons. its ok.

On our way there Liz said that we should try to leave halfway through if it got too boring and if we got our goodie bags already..

Upon reaching the museum, we asked where the room was. This guy popped up from behind and started telling us how the trainer has been sick these few days and hence the thing in cancelled BUT we will still get our GOODIE BAGS! then we went on to talk about how it is going to be postponed and how if we would still like to come.
I told him: yeah sure! just let us know! *smile*
And then, we turned and ran out of the place WITH OUR GOODIE BAGS!
Liz's dream came true.
And the goodie bags weren't that good anyway.
hrmph.

I manage to catch CSI on tv today.
Have been missing it because I've been coming home way after 10 for the past few weeks..
the CNY rush is about to begin...

My house is now ringing with CNY songs as my mom blasts the CNY song dvd on the tv and sings along at the top of her voice and DANCES!!! CAN YOU BELIEVE THAT! oh goodness.. I don't know what possessed her to purchase the karaoke of the CNY songs. But she is fully forgiven because SHE BOUGHT ME TWO BIG BAGS OF YUMMY PORK FLOSS ROLLS! I am sooooo happy :) :) :)

Today has been a LOOOONG day.
I had dinner with mummy and daddy.
I love having dinner with them alone cause that's when they start talking and telling me things they can't tell me when my sisters are around.
I realized that they have really acknowledged the fact that I am pretty grown up already.
My dad was asking me to keep tabs on the things I am allergic to so that I would not have complications when I am pregnant...
And also about how I should try my best to stretch every dollar I have..
And how he was going to start teaching me how to invest in shares...
I guess only Leah will forever be the baby in the family.
My mom just showed me this bracelet Leah bought for her and she was saying:"I was so touched that my baby bought me a present!"

I also realized today that my mom bought hamster food that smells like dog biscuits.
