apple tataTA!

Woke up this morning at 5.30 cause my sis said we had to leave at 6 plus to go bring Choobs to the airport and then pick her friend up and stuff.
but then she left silently without me and I woke up so early for nothing.
I was slightly upset but oh well...
I got to have a great sandwich that my grandma made for lunch
It had eggs, ham, some sort of veg, mayo (i think)
It was just really really tasty and made me happy again :)

Last night Joy and I went to Trav and Dane's place and trav made apple tatata!

It's like apple pie but with a thinner pie crust
I realized that I seem to like stuff with pie crusts...

turn around touch the ground and give yourself a pat *pat*

this morning was a particularly warm winter morning...
I spent most of it in shorts...
pretty happy about that since I feel that my shorts have been very neglected.
Vacuumed and washed the sheets today.
Always love it when I put fresh sheets on the bed..
makes me feel cleaner. fresher, happier:)
My room now smells of milo from the cup on the bedside stand.
nice and comforting...

We didn't have hot water last night so I practically jumped in and out of the shower..
too cold!!!
Also the reason why I'm washing the sheets.
The internet is starting to slow down a little
which is REALLY strange considering it's only just past the first week of the month.
I'm not going to watch anymore korean dramas cause I found out Ayeeba has got a whole hard disk filled with them and I'm going to 'KOPE' them when i go over on the 4th of july!
heh heh heh.....

TOMORROW IS START OF SHOPPING SPREE DAY! WHEEE!
I spent most of today online shopping and making a list of all the things I want to look out for when I go shopping :D

Rainy Sunday

Church today was filled with cute little kids in their cute winter clothes.. 

the worse the clothes, the cuter the kid looks.

I just had to take a picture of this waist-high little girl in her quilted neon pink dress with neon green fuzz that added an extra oomph factor to the outfit..

Then we went for lunch in Nelson's car where I found PANDAN LEAF. Singaporean car trademark. 

We spotted a car with a very offensive number plate... 

This car would most likely be driven by an ahbeng dont you think??

I would have taken more photos but Lyd and Nelz weren't willing to be my subjects :( 

I got scolded twice for taking their photos :(

I believe all things happen for a reason. 

Today passed really quickly. 

Despite the fact that I woke up really late this morning, so many thing happened all at once and the day just flew past. 

While I was cleaning the house and doing the laundry, I had time to myself to think over some things and I realized how many awful mistakes and bad choices I have made. 

But I don't regret any of them 

cause they all taught me valuable lessons about life and about myself. 

and before ben says its me being emo again, I guess this is going to be the last emo post. 

cause from today onwards, my life is going to be so much more God-directed. 

and that means future mistakes are going to be happy mistakes.

This is the end of another chapter, but also a start of an exciting new beginning. 

I hope it is the same for you.

So I've been told that my posts have been very emo lately. 

*cough* ben *cough*. 

anyway, I've had a really good conversation with my mom and some trusted people and I've more or less sorted things out.. 

of course however, I do still need to seek God VERY MUCH. 

2 more days to no exams!!! 

and 2 weeks and 2 days to sydney! 

I can't wait to see Joe and Walter :)

I'm in a very terrible position now.
But I don't want anyone to feel sad or sorry for me..
cause I'd hate you if you did.
Everyone goes through stuff like that I guess.
If my life were so smooth going, it would be pretty unfair don't you think?

Another winter day has come and gone away in even Paris and Rome...

Its been much warmer this week.. 

I am able to sleep without the heater and take slightly less than boiling hot water showers..

4 more days to actual 'freedom'.. 

Despite the fact I still have to do my thesis.. 

but who cares when sydney is 2 weeks away and I don't have to deal with actual exams and papers in 4 days :) 

Life's been pretty okay lately with a lot of confusion and chocolate gorging..

but I'm fat and fine :P

I do miss 'the fellowship peeps' a whole lot though. 

Exams just somehow seems so dreary without the music library, gummi bears, random black church videos, saying we will meet at 8 but everyone comes at 10, trips to subway and YIH, dinners at holland, prata bomb nights, etc.. 

gah. 

and post exam would be so much less fun without garage band at debses, random picnics and house gatherings, watching GG together and then talking about how ridiculous the episode was, seeing our group suddenly grow when everyone returns from overseas, etc.. 

I was just telling Debs how I'm living in my sister's shadow.. 

and she was saying its how it was with her as well..

but you see, caleb's friends are much nicer than lyd's friends... 

less bitchy, more forgiving. 

And I wanna go home, let me go home...

Sunday kinda love

The message at church today was about true love. 

I didn't hear a lot of it cause a cute little girl was very distracting.. hahaha.. 

meet cute little girl, chelsea.

but I did manage to catch the gist of it... 

The preacher told a story about a woman whose husband cheated on her with another woman. 

Soon after she found out, he got into an accident that made him a vegetable. 

She quit her job and worked part time selling red bean soup and took care of her husband. 

I sat there wondering if I could ever love someone that way.. 

If I could truly say that I have God's love in me.. 

sometimes I am so quick to hold grudges that even the slightest sin done against me hinders my ability to love. 

I hope I will, someday.

SNOW!

Just kidding. 

but it just might snow soon. 

It freezing here.. 

It has never been this cold EVER. 

Temperatures now should be temperatures we get in August. 

but because of the famed global WARMING(oh the irony that never fails to hit us), 

we are FREEZING at the very start of winter. 

It's only the 2nd week of winter. 

brrr. 

I spend my days huddled in front of the heater

and I even take the trouble to push the heater into the bathroom when I shower. 

TOO cold. 

Work yesterday was A W E S O M E 

hear me say it again: A W E S O M E 

why you ask? 

BECAUSE, we received baskin & robins vouchers at work!! 

yay! 

B&R is Australia's B&J. 

For the unfortunate states that don't have B&Js at least. 

and anyway, the flavours are so much SO MUCH nicer. 

CANDY FLOSS. B&J doesn't carry anything nearly as A W E S O M E as that. 

I can't wait till exams are O V E R and I can go out and eat all the B&Rs I can stomach. 

6 more days to my first and last exam paper. 

Today I will memorize everything so that by the time the exam comes, it will come out like diarrhea.

It' 6 degrees at the moment... FREEZING. 

It's the talk and smoke escapes your mouth temperature. 

It might just snow this winter... 

It's only the start of winter and its already 6 degrees... 

Sydney's going to be FREEZING.

HELL WEEK IS OVER! 

ok.. 

it was long over. 

I just had to say it again. 

In 2 days, we'll be signing the offer for our new apartment and I'll be heading down to GC to see Andrea and Shirlene! :) 

My godgrandparents went on a trip to the coast for A WEEK! 

So we spent today out at Choob's and brought food with us.. 

I always love having meals here cause I get to cook for the three of us.. 

I tried to experiment and make some sort of Stir fried chilli veg today and it didn't turn out nice AT ALL.. 

though the other two were nice enough to finish it..

oops.

but practice makes perfect!

they are going to be my guinea pigs for the next 6 months!! 

Can't wait till we move out.

we are so excited about moving out and decorating the place and all.
we are posting an offer today yay yay yay.
so now all we can do is wait and pray yay yay yay.

I'm going to hand them in tmw.
I'm all ready to head to GC next week to meet the girls
and then I'll have my printer ink and my camera batt charger
and then I can take peektures and print debses face!

If I could just pay someone to write my abstract for me....

I woke up at 6.45am this morning even though I had already decided to give today's lecture a miss.
I really don't know why I woke up so early.
I just suddenly was wide awake.
pfft.
I've been working on refining my assignment for the past 5 hours..
and I am only left with the darn abstract.
It has got to be the hardest part.
I have another 12 hours to get something out anyway.
I CAN DO THIS!

You know how sometimes you don't know how tense you are and then suddenly something happens and you suddenly relax and you can actually FEEL your muscles relaxing and it feels like the stress just vaporized and you are all soft and squishy and nice again?


It just happened to me :)
