The end and the beginning.

the whole day I was worried.
I teared alot..
During prayer meeting I was praying while playing
I think Allan saw.. cause he motioned to me asking if I wanted to stop playing to get prayed for
But I didn't want to
I didnt want to cry while getting prayed for
Cause I shouldn't be crying.
I have decided that I am to leave EVERYTHING to God
So why was I still holding on to it.
And then they sang the song 'Be still'
And that reminded me that HE IS GOD.
He can to anything.
So I was calm for a while
Till I reached home and sat in front of my com...
The results were out since 12pm.
But I didn't have the time to look at them till after prayer meeting
When I got home, it was already past midnight.
When I saw my results, I ran downstairs to tell mummy.
I was so prepared to check my results and then go into the shower to have a good cry
but I didn't have to :)
When I came out of the shower, I double checked to see that it was REALLY mine.

I have officially ended my education in the National University of Singapore, Kent Ridge. (It just seems cooler to have comma something... since Singapore does not have states like the states... this'll have to do.)

Today was back in time day.

Going to stay over at mama's house tmw.
It's been a long time since I did that :)
I remember doing that our house was under renovations.
That was when I grew the FATTEST because breakfast was PORRIDGE.
And the general philosophy there was that if you are not totally full, you have not eaten enough.
There are meals, then they are in-between meals meals, and there are in-between in-between meals meals.
:)
With grandparents we will never be hungry.

I have to say I totally love the latest summer collections.. Zara's summer collection is so bright and cheery, filled with flowered embroidery and batik prints that I cannot help falling in love with...
And all the summer collections I have seen so far follow the same flowers, embroidery and batiks.... hobo seems to be in this season and I'm loving it.
I just wish I had more dispensible income at the moment....

GSS IN 1 DAY AND COUNTING!

Today, I received a conditional entry to UQ.
I have been so anxious since my friend received her reply on monday morning.
Even though it really means nothing until I receive the real offer, I'm happy I even received conditional entry :)

ANYWAY, it has been an eventful day.
Us girls went tanning today and we were tanning half way when I realized three BMs sitting not too far away were taking pictures of us. Thankfully, after they realized that we had discovered them, they stopped.
Then, we received drinks on the house!!! NOT from the BMs. but from the management of the bar we went to. Nothing fancy though.. just plain lemon tea. but better than nothing!
AND THEN! the 3 BMs STARTED TO STRIP TO THEIR UNDERWEAR!! OH MY!!! it was WHITE COTTON FRUMPY UNDERWEAR! not sexy at all.. AND they just had to go into the water.

White frumpy underwear + water = ugly saggy eyesore + pure entertainment

Debs said it HAS to be a cultural thing.
We wanted to go to the water but we didn't want to while the three BMs were still there, so we waited till they got dressed.
We should have waited till they left though, we didn't and they came down to ask to take pictures with us before they left.
Debs was like: can we NOT.
but SOMEHOW, they started posing and we were 'forced' to take a photo with them.
ew ew ew...
One stood next to me and he said: cannot touch?
I was like: YES! CANNOT TOUCH! NO TOUCH OK?
can you imagine when they go back to their home country, we will be shown to everyone in their village!!!! disgust.
and they are so SLY. We were at the water so we couldn't go back to get our coverups and had to take the picture with them in our bikinis..
only Rachel was wearing a tankini so it wasn't that bad....
IF deborah yap yong ying listened to me and used her camera to take a photo of them with us, we would have EVIDENCE.
but then I think she was suffering from shock. hahahaha..

but anyway, it was funny while it lasted cause we definitely weren't the hottest there... (There was this really really hot angmoh with a hot bod and tan and all!!)
But I guess we were the only local girls...

So I end of this wonderfully long and exciting entry with something totally out of point but yet totally relevant to me at this point in my life.

Stars and Rocks

Between the stars in the sky and the rocks on the ground, rocks seem better...
Although stars are pretty, we can't reach them.
The rocks on the ground may seem dirty, but we can turn them into precious stones.
Yet some of us still hope for the shining star, though far away and unattainable.
and every so often, stars will fall from the sky.
And those starry bits...

become precious stones.

It's always the best when the couple that are suppose to be together, get together.

It's the hols and I seem to be blogging less than when it wasn't the hols.
But that's probably cause there are so many things I can now do during the hols that I didnt allow myself to do during school term that now, I don't have to seek comfort of leisure from blogging any longer.
Its another week of holidays before I start my first week of work.
I have never gone out so much.
Holidays have mostly been just work for me... Staying from 8am till 5pm at the counter or from 1 till 9. not taking a break cause I didn't seem to need one.

BUT, now I don't have the luxury of working at shu anymore due to the many other pretty young things that have replaced me...
It's a luxury because its the time I get to stock up on my stuff.. heh.
but relief teaching's good too.. i hope.
Well, I'm off again to another activity filled day..
gotta grab hold of my youth before I turn old and saggy and knitting.......

I almost collapsed today at the bus stop for no apparent reason.
I blacked out but managed to stay on the seat till grace came.
Told my parents
now my dad thinks I am anorexic and my mom thinks I'm just weird.
The health and wellness center in YIH closes ON TIME :(
My cupcakes are not baking very well today :( :(
and its cause I'm using a new pan that I've never used before
I do not like dark non-stick pans.
aluminum pans are the best for baking anyway.
I CAN'T WAIT FOR TMW CAUSE MOST OF MY FRIENDS ARE ENDING EXAMS AND THEN I WON'T BE SO BORED ANYMORE. :)

This is the first time i'm watching American Idol this season.
Ryan Seacrest looks like he had plastic surgery done.

sometimes life makes you feel so defeated that you don't know what else to do other than just let go.....

the sun is already up and I HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO SLEEP A WINK!
this is terribly terrible.

I NEED TO FIND A JOB.
technically, I have one. But it only starts in july. this is super saddening.
And with the amount of shopping i'm doing AND plan to do.....
I REALLY NEED A JOB.

anyway, today, i realised HOW FREAKING FAT MY ARMS ARE.
thanks to debses photo.
so tmw I shall aspire to gym and tone my fat arms (I've been saying this since forever though)
and eat less ice cream.. (ahhhh.... *dies*)

I NEED TO FIND A JOB.
I watched taiwanese drama and cry and cry and laugh and laugh from like 10am till 4pm until I developed a headache.
THIS WILL NOT DO.

I went to orchard to meet mummy and leah today for shopping BUT I DID NOT BUY ANYTHING. HOW CAN!
and then I went to trim my brows (FINALLY.) while mummy and leah went home.
And after that I was suppose to go home but I decided to continue walking around on my own.
So emo right, but it is actually good to shop on your own.
you can go in and out of shops without having to wait for ppl.
ANYWAY, I was very sad and even more emo on my way back BECAUSE
1. I did not buy anything even after walking so long.
2. I was not able to fully utilize my walking atm.
AND 3. when I came back, I realised I walked so long that the skin from one of my toes came off.

but then, mummy gave me money to shop tmw.
so i'm no longer emo (materialistic me).
And I also realised that even though I didn't spend any money, I got about $50 worth of free stuff thanks to cerlyn :)
so today wasn't so bad after all :)
MORE SHOPPING TMW!!!! :D

its DONE.
ok. it was LONG done.
like.. 11am 'yesterday' done.

I just wasted like 10 bucks on a bad manicure.
I will NEVER return there again.
The china woman thought I wouldn't find out that they used nail polish remover to dilute the remaining nail polish.. BUT I KNOW WHEN YOU DO THAT BECAUSE WHEN YOU DO, THE NAIL POLISH WILL HAVE BUBBLES WHEN IT DRIES.
such a cheat.
don't ever go there.
It's at bugis street.
and its not 'expected' just cause it only costed 10 bucks.
I have gone for really good 6.50 manicures before...
the shop closed down. I DO NOT KNOW WHY.
never again.
pfft.

[update]: I just stuck those flowers things on top of my yucky nail polished nails and they look really feminine now. They don't match my black polished toe nails. If i remove the polish on my toe nails and repolish it, the nailpolish remover will also remove my nail polish and flowers on my fingernails....
sigh.
The worries and stressors of life after the exams make exams seem insignificant sometimes...
Until results day, that is.
